What I support
I am a firm believer that extreme poverty can be impacted, in part, through the development of educational opportunities. With one in five children in the world never seeing the inside of a classroom, there is much that we can do to change that.
Just under three years ago, a group of us set out to change the lives some of the many deserving communities in the developing world. Our organization, Building Walls of Wisdom, has been responsible for the construction of schools in Kenya, Ecuador, Sri Lanka, and Ghana. Although our initial modest goal was to build 10 schools in 10 years, we are now raising funds for our 6th and 7th projects.
In November of last year I was fortunate enough to visit several of these aforementioned communities fist-hand. Below is a video we took in the community of Adubiliyili, Ghana.
